Después de desarrollar una patente y hacer algunas pruebas, las primeras Digi-cards se convirtieron en un verdadero éxito. “A los medios les encantaba”, dice Alondra. “No les importábamos ni yo ni mi disco, lo único que querían era saber más sobre esas Digi-cards”. Son dispositivos parecidos a tarjetas de crédito que contienen códigos para acceder a servidores seguros y descargar de forma manual o automática todo el contenido en dispositivos móviles u ordenadores.

Excerpt from magazine interview: Mexican technology businessman Gerardo Alton-Ortega says the future of physical information distribution is in the cards, Digi-cards that is. It all started as a way to distribute his recording-artist wife’s music album efficiently and now has become an industry with hundreds of different uses.
